The Chamanas

The Chamanas are an indie pop band comprised of members from Mexico and the United States. Their first EP, Fronterizo, seeks to highlight the unique relationship between the border towns of El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Chihuaha; a relationship that has remained paramount to the band's fusion-oriented style. Their slick blend of synthetic and organic, traditional sounds include Mexican folk, Bossa Nova, and experimental indie rock.
