Dogos

About the band

Dogos started in 2015 with some demos created by housemates Ferdy Valls (Furry Vowels, Los Wálters) and Deko (Dan Siego, Labajura) in their apartment in Old San Juan. A few years later after receiving critical praise within the indie scene, the band published some tracks on Bandcamp. Through this, they decided to set up an official band which includes Jorge Perez (Las Abejas) on guitar and vocals and Josean Alicea on drums.

Their first showcases were alongside major forces in the Puerto Rican independent scene with bands like Los Wálters, Indigo, Davila 666, and international acts such as Plastic Pinks and Tall Juan. They also played “Ponce Es Ley” event alongside acts like Alvaro Díaz, Los Bronson, and Buscabulla. In 2018 after several months in the studio and with several more lost by the passage of Hurricane Maria, Dogos released their first production "Self-Titled," which featured hit tracks “Madrid," "La Linda” and “Como Te Va." In 2020, Dogos will produce and record their new record, with two singles already released called "Límitrofes" and "No Es Fácil".
