Foreign Fields

Foreign Fields makes natural rock fit for the cold, mechanical city. Combining electronic blips with deep, ethereal folk, their aesthetic of lostness forces a reminder that we are awash in the unseen. The duo’s voice ebbs and flows as a single harmonic instrument while echo-drenched guitar licks move with a ghost-like cadence.

The band’s most captivating moments lie in silence; the empty space between each note. Whether on piano or guitar, they create a stimulating, comforting sound. Foreign Fields’ stellar recent effort, “Anywhere But Where I Am” will challenge even a roaming soul to be still and listen closely.
